Jack D. Walker has over forty years experience in various areas of the banking industry. He has held supervisory and management positions in operations, security, compliance, audit, and data processing while employed by three independent banks and two major bank holding companies. He served as a member of a major bank holding company’s policy committee and was instrumental in developing corporate policy and procedures. Also, has twenty one years in consulting in compliance, audit, loan review and policy development.
Mr. Walker holds the “Chartered Bank Auditor” Ret. (CBA), “Certified Information System Auditor” Ret. (CISA), and “Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager” Ret. (CRCM), designations and completed the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin.
He has conducted pre-acquisition reviews of merger candidates ranging in size from twenty-five to one hundred twenty million dollars. As part of one holding company’s service to its correspondent banks, he conducted reviews of several data processing systems and operations of electronic data processing functions. He has extensive experience evaluating controls and security aspects in both manual and electronic data processing environments. He has completed several compliance reviews for consumer compliance adherence at community banks. He has conducted several training sessions on compliance, internal audits and loan reviews.
